If you really want to get away from it all, this rustic little cottage is only twenty minutes from Wellington city, but in an atmosphere a world away from the city. An old army barracks building was moved to the property for shearers' quarters in the 1960's and has since been renovated into a cosy self contained and very private place surrounded by steep hills of peaceful farmland.
The bedroom of the cottage merges with the dining area and kitchen and the spaces are decorated tastefully, simply and comfortably.
Recognising that privacy is important for our guests, you can be assured you will be left alone. The piece de resistance is featured in the garden with the romantic outdoor bath heated by a wood fire. Relax under the stars in the warm water and soak in the stunning quiet of the countryside. A unique way to refresh your weary body?
Continental breakfast ingredients are included and you're most welcome to bring along your own ingredients to enjoy a sumptours feast as the cottage features a full kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge. Additionally, restaurants are only a 10 minute drive away in nearby Johnsonville.
