Clarification from Ohariu Farm
Many couples and vendors have reached out to Ohariu Farm Weddings,
as the current online photos, videos and social media posts are
confusing them as to the situation regarding the venue in Ohariu Valley.
They have requested clarification – so here it is:
*Ohariu Farm Weddings was owned by The Hart Family,
who hosted amazing, bespoke weddings from 2014 until 31st March 2026,
when they ceased trading and closed the business to pursue
their other opportunities.
*The Ohariu Farm business was not sold to anyone or taken over,
and therefore Ohariu Farm is not under New Management.
*Instead, the business was completely closed,
with no overlap or handover to anyone.
Everything related to Ohariu Farm Weddings went
with them, andhe venue was left empty of all
Ohariu Farm items including furniture and décor.
*The new occupants of the building have named the venue Ohariu Hills.
*The two business entities are not connected in any way.
There is no personal/friendship relationship between the
owners of either business and the owners of Ohariu Hills have never had
any involvement in any weddings hosted by Ohariu Farm Weddings
between 2014 and end March 2026.
*Yes, our couples and vendors are correct, it is very confusing for them -
the recent online and social media photos and videos being attributed to
Ohariu Hills are photos and videos of weddings hosted by
Ohariu Farm Weddings, prior to 31st March 2026.
