Having owned Ohariu Farm Weddings and Events at Ohariu Farm since 2014, the time has come for the Harts to hang up their hats.
Back in 2014, The Hart Family purchased Ohariu Farm Weddings and quickly set about reshaping the way weddings were celebrated here.
They introduced a fresh approach to the experience – completely reimagining the food style and menus, creating a new style of relaxed, memorable weddings, and upgrading the building along the way.
Hosting every wedding, they created something truly special at Ohariu Farm. Their focus was always on delivering the highest standards of service while maintaining the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that made the venue so loved by couples, families, and guests alike.
Bringing more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, they introduced a unique style of food that became a signature part of the Ohariu Farm experience - all lovingly handmade, including the now infamous slow-cooked brisket and freshly baked focaccia bread.
We would like to give a huge thank you to all of the incredible couples and families that we have had the privilege of meeting over the years. Being part of your celebrations and building relationships with so many wonderful people has been the most rewarding part of this journey.
To our fabulous staff, past and present - your hard work and commitment to providing a wonderful experience for our guests is highly appreciated - a massive thank you is sent your way.
And to our vendors – what can we say? You have all been absolutely fantastic. Over the years we have created more than just working relationships; together we built a community. Time and time again we came together as a team to create unforgettable weddings and magical moments for our couples. Your creativity, dedication, and passion never go unnoticed – we are so grateful for everything you do.
While we don’t yet know what the future holds for the building itself, Ohariu Farm Weddings and Events in Ohariu Valley is closing this chapter.
After 12 amazing and successful years, they are now off to pastures new, taking with them their knowledge, experience, and many, many fond memories.
